The adidas ZX line has always looked to the future. Back in the day, that meant driving innovation to help athletes run their best. Today it means we're partnering with Parley for the Oceans to help end plastic waste. The shoe that started it all — the ZX 500 — is back in action, and it's been reimagined in part with upcycled plastic waste. The retro '80s style? No change there. Educate and act. Head to Parley for the Oceans website to find out more, sign up and get involved at adidas.com/parley. This shoe's upper is made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic — reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.
